breakfast in paris

Image
How wonderful would it be to play Ferris for a day? I think it would be grand. My interpretation would be to ditch life for a day and wake-up in Paris to enjoy breakfast and then bike around town enjoying wine and cheese during the pit stops and if it were to rain, how great would this brolly be? This Parisian has some serious shit hot-ness about her going on. I hate shorts...HATE - however this outfit could make an appearance in my closet some day soon. Now, to figure out what to eat for breakie in one of the most premium cities? What a conundrum....

Bueller!!!!

That kick ass house from my favorite 'let's ditch our responsibilities and go do the twist and shout in downtown Chicago' flick is for sale. It is so amazing, if only I had 2.3 mill in the bank and the inclination to move to Illinois - neither going to happen anytime soon.

Big in Japan

I miss my gf Dawn today. The sun is shining and I wish she could enjoy the day with me and a glass of rose. Some amazing Japanese cherry blossoms ...and me sniffing the same scent in NYC. I am sporting the same clothing today as I was that bright summery day a year back...and thinking what a year it has been.

You look just lovely. Let's hope the wig wearing giggling ladies are still dancing along Queen West...

Sunny Monday

Lovely foggy sunrise by Cade Martin. It is in Washington...but I prefer to think of it as Paris.

Whilst reading my local magazine online...I came across this write up . Yay Wayne-r & Co! Made my heart swell.....

Planes, trains, automobiles (and boats too!)

The weather eventually was friendly to me and I ended my Switzerland trip with a full belly of delicious pasta and some sun on my nose. A restaurant called Osteria Nostranello was simply sublime.

tea time

Just finished my morning mint tea by the water. The Swiss sun refuses to come join me today..but I haven't given up on it yet. Fingers & toes crossed it will make an appearance. Check out the amazing work of this dutch lovey here

Balletmesterens luner

Image
I went to see this ballet last night and my oh my, how could a ballet ooze so much sex? Filled with unexpected scenes and fantastic music, it played at the Playhouse or Skuespilhuset (in danish)....who the hell can say these words? I am very happy to have visited the theater here finally and hope more performances are in my future. Thanks to Jack for the details and for being one of the brave ones with enough gumption to get his ass up on stage with these fine specimens.

These painting are super cool. The artist attempts to "invite the viewer to form his or her own connection and narrative so that he may empathize with the occupants’ seemingly mundane existence." well said miss Bennett.

hot docs....I miss you!

I must put my creative hat on and figure out how to see Art & Copy , in a way that doesn't make me long for the theater it played in a few days ago. Thinking about it, it is probably my favorite corner of the city. Across from the ROM, beside the Gardiner Museum and of course a short walk from one of my favorite rooftop lounges on earth.....oh why did you have to play there? I am so jealous. A few shots of those very buildings....thanks to various photographers that seem to like them as much as I do.

a few of my favorite things

Having just had the pleasure of listening to a very loud and very nostalgic song from the Sound of Music, being played over the studio's stereo...I think these images might be on my favorite things list. Slim Aarons , a photographer who's "indelible images celebrate iconic women's innate sense of personal style and joie de vivre" is tops to me on this surprisingly nice spring afternoon.

Great design , amazing sense of colour and smart idea's.

Spring really kicks ass here. The flowers smell amazing, the sun is shining...it is like a fairytale at times. If I was really ambitious I would make a beautiful piece for my flat like this....

It's all about Positivity and today - creativity

I have yet to read her book, Eat, Pray, Love - however after listening to her I want to go out and pick it up straight away. Reading, sitting in Assistens Kirkegard while eating strawberries and drinking lemonade is my weekend plan.
