The freshman

Image
In 1980 the US president was so stylishly cool. The big smile, the closed eyes...how can we not swoon? Lisa Jack's exhibition is a great look at the young man with such a future ahead of him.

well said.

Midsummer

Some shots of my happy feet, after a lady evening in the palace. A 5am sky and bare feet, an excellent wat to celebrate the longest day of the year!

reunitied...and it feels so good

I thought I had lost my lovely danish bike when I skipped out of town. Happy to have it back, I was so happy in fact that I rode to work through the most insane rainstorm of my life - worse than Amsterdam summer rain showers that seemed to coax me into the canals, using my portfolio as my sail....yes much much worse than that. Sweet ride, welcome back. I shall hide under the covers with my sniffles and tea to nurse myself back to health after the very cold and wet Scandi day. Cute girl who took this cute shot.

I heart New York

Image
Spending a very surprising day and evening in the city that is so amazing sometimes, I don't even know where to begin...I am feeling the NYC love these days. This work is smart, funny and beautiful - what more could we ask? Ji Lee , you are one cool cat.

lobsters!!!!

Having the plaesur eof eating numerous delicious oysters, succulent crab and over the top prawns over the last few weeks, I found this little shack most inviting and inspiring. Bring on the lobster rolls fellas!!! Interesting article on funding and project plan.

here comes a wee one

A tinsey tiny blonde I know is expecting. I just found out and am super excited for the new parents-to-be. I have always known her as a strong and oh-my-god I might puke a little in my mouth, fantastically sweet girl...who will make one kick ass mum. If I could find these little fella's I would grab a hundred of them and send them to her - 'how cute are they?' a very Canadian term picked up while away. Millions of kisses to you mum-to-be!

smirking mother hubbard...

Mum, I miss you. I am thinking very much of you today and what a big day you are having tomorrow at your going away party from the hospital. I am so inspired by you and thank you for everything you have given me. Millions of danish kisses to you! Cute outfit - you can never keep a straight face, I love it.

Sunday afternoon script reading

Image
I had the pleasure of visiting the Botanical Gardens here in the 'hagen and really enjoyed slowly biking around town to various benches to catch some sun and do some reading. The afternoon sun is pretty nice, however the sunsets can be simply spectacular. Here is the King's garden at 10pm...so pretty.

a quiet evening

It has been very warm and very very beautiful here in Scaniland the last few days. After an early June heat wave, the Scandinavian wind blew in and cooled everyone right down this evening. So, what is one to do? Bundle up, drink tea, sip Calvados and read. For tonight's reading, I have chosen design porn a.k.a Frame magazine, tea and lady Scandinavian music...Here is a shot of how I would describe this cozy evening. That bed looks so stellar, catching a really really slow sunset while curled up with a good book would be heaven and that fireplace....how fantastic .
