foggy monday

My bags are all packed and I am ready to say goodbye to my first flat here. It has treated me very well and I will miss the sailboats cruising on by, the weekend walks around the parks and very random firework shows on late nights. On to the next Danish abode and new digs!

While out for a morning run the other day a little bunny hopped across my path. I miss the days when I could find these little fellers in my garden, I hope to find some again one day!

Now, if it were New York - I would be running to Kate Spade to pick up all her new goodies, including her recently launched clothing line ! Her black and white striped socks are Wizard of Oz magical. After suiting up in some serious Spade duds, I would be all over these Sunday Suppers cooking classes. They look amazing. *it goes without saying that a budget is not involved in the 'if I was staying' series.

I would love to live in these two cities...but visiting could be pretty darn cool too! If I was visiting Paris, I would find some one to do this fancy braid to my hair, while staying here ...sooo lush and pretty.

For no particular reason, other than the tallest and sweetest blond in all the land is from there - and I was lucky enough to see it by her side.

This idea is effing fantastic! Freeze grapes covered with Grappa, then eat the grapes with dark or plain just delicious chocolate. I think this will be my dinner tomorrow...as I am off to my first Danish sommerhus this evening. weeee, I am so excited!!

A little stone cottage purchased by some people I am so very jealous of now - what a beautiful place. This happens to be in France, but Italy, Spain....it really doesn't matter right now - I love you all!

After going to a gallery and music thingy this eve, I was starving. I set myself up watching a British show called 'Top Gear' which I am in love with these days. It is about cars...and not the sort of thing I would usually be digging...but the host has one of those voices that I could just listen to for hours. He has perfect timing, a good sense of humour and a great voice to match. This show is proof that content may be king, but delivery is it's queen. Anyway, after eating way too many things with chopsticks in front of the telly, I decided to nibble on some good eats, standing in my kitchen. This has to be one of my favorite things to do as of late. It seems I am not alone in this love. This book is a collection of short stories on eating solo, which I do quite often. It is not because I am a lonely guy person, it just seems to work out this way. Any book that talks about the joy of eating is worth a flip through I say.

I heard recently that men should not wear shorts in urban areas, I do not agree. Neither does Scott Schuman, otherwise known as the Sartorialist it seems. An article in the Globe&Mail, quoted him saying a few interesting things, "I'm pretty good at the sex. And pretty good at picture taking. That's about it." was one of my favourites. I look forward to picking his book up soon, it would be a nice one to flip through in a cafe.

I am leaving the office and am so hungry. Tonight is sushitarian, watching the sunset with tea and a film in the flat. Tuesday's can sometimes be pretty darn cool. This woman is just yummy. I wish I could get my copy of Rear Window to work on my danish computer. Oh miss Kelly, I want to see you soon! I read the other day that in Monaco it is still against the law to show her films...hmm

The Danish summer, bike rides and country roads will miss you Dad!

While searching for just the right image of a beautiful lady for a project, I came across some creatures I am surrounded by here. Swedish, Danish or Dutch...it does not seem to matter. They are all so amazingly beautiful, it makes one ask...why bother?

To be playing this would be so lovely today.
