Good advice from the talented folk at Hoefler & Frere-Jones

I am not sure about the answer, but I like the question. Having shared some of my thoughts on inspiration yesterday, I have let some people behind my creative curtain and hope they aren't too disappointed. I can only imagine what pulses behind my co-workers creative curtains, some sweet inspiration and some scary too, I bet.

Things are never as black and white as they seem or we think they are. However, inevitably – clarity comes. We hope, anyway.

When I see a campaign I wish I worked on I get both twinges of envy and feelings of hope. Swede , gorgeous...of course.

Coming across this video today made me smile. I liked the video so much I actually stopped listening to the other video that was rolling at the time, which was Led Zeppelin – Going to California, which pretty much should say how stellar Allan Poon's work was. The music is cool, however the film and the motion of animals, had me transfixed.

Seemingly dream couple, Mr & Mrs Spade have now moved on from their fashion labels and taken on new and exciting projects. From found objects to films, gallery spaces to small wineries – all by the pretty little price tag of millions from the sales of the labels to propel their lives. hmmm.
