A wonderful film.

Announced today as Pantone’s colour of the year for 2012. A bright bouncy color with vibrance and saturation, an interesting choice. Could it be that the future might seem grey and grim and we all need s color boost? Does Pantone know something secret about this coming year that brings with it such intense and electric notes? We soon shall find out!

Gaspard is a new shop I recently designed the identity for. Just down the street from the most wonderful pastry shop Nadege and Type bookstore in Toronto – not to mention near my lovely little blue house, welcome to the world Gaspard, I hope people enjoy you!

I am supporting this fine project . My first time using kickstart , a great idea and easy to use. I hope they get their funding in before the deadline tomorrow!

Although we can not see it, does not mean it doesn't exist. On December 13th it will be Saint Lucia Day. A time when little gorgeous Scandinavian girls dress up in white gowns and wear beautiful candles atop their head whilst singing traditional songs. In New York I presume the day will come and go without many candles or singing, so I am making it my goal to welcome the light along with all those Swedes that do so in such style. Not sure how..but will sort it out by then.

Scandinavia & Canada are on the books for the winter months...what could be more fitting for a winter break? I predict winter bathing and red wine in the forcast.

Soon to be experiencing the New Museum ...and enjoying the playground. Hurrah!! New York in the Autumn.

One of my favorites places, in which I said goodbye to one of my favorite people. In Denmark the sun plays hide and seek all to often, but when it shines it is spectacular.

Recently reading a story about how working outdoor activity into your daily life can make a big impact, I realized how even a fifteen minute bike ride can really change your day. New York is not the easiest town to bike in, but it can be done. Copenhagen is still the best biking town around though, Amsterdam it's close second in my opinion.

I have yet to play the game, but the visual of those damn birds seem to be leaking into popular culture more and more. Thanks to the New Yorker and it's new site for putting a smile on my face.

My lovely little pantone cup has been the talk of my office since it's arrival back from Paris. Wish I had more and also that I had a sunny afternoon to spend the entire time wandering around that shop, reading, eating and taking it all in. The whole process of being able to transport yourself to the people and places you love is fantastic. Arriving, departing, anticipating and even longing are all part of travel and I am very pleased to be in a time when this kind of travel is possible.

A wee little cup, picked up in Paris at Merci. It is meant for espresso, but I prefer strawberry yogurt to start the day.

Spent most of April in the US of A. Texas was a treat and NYC as beautiful and intriguing as always. This shot was snapped whilst I was on the go...cab drivers, random passers by that applaud and shout random encouraging and loving notions, only in New York. See you soon NYC!
