communal tables

Being a recent convert to bar seating, I am now starting to see communal tables pop up more often. Spotting one at Il Buco during a lazy holiday lunch, then again at Redfarm...a west village spot that served up some good food as well as a warm and cozy atmosphere one needs on a rainy New Years Day.
