kites and balloons

When I first moved to Copenhagen I had it in my head I wanted to spend a Sunday afternoon making Peanut Butter cookies and flying a hand made kite. This of course was an indulgent fantasy that never materialized.

However, 5 months later have been inspired by this lovely couple that was photographed with this giant red balloon. It captures all I hope to feel while trying to fly a kite, make cookies using a metric measuring cup and of course pairing the cookies with my favorite Rose Champagne.
